Canceled - Skyway Farmers Market
This event date has been canceled.
It is with heavy hearts that we received the news Skyway Farmers Market & Bazaar scheduled for Sunday, July 27, 2025.
Since 2022, the Dare2Be Project hosted this event in every season—rain, sleet, or snow—without ever missing a date. This decision was not made lightly.
Despite being awarded $150,000 through King County’s Participatory Budgeting process, this organization has not received any of the promised funds. To date, Dare2Be has covered over $83,000 in unreimbursed expenses to keep this market alive. They simply cannot carry this burden alone any longer.
As a vendor partner in this work we are especially grateful to Gloria Brig, Basha Alexander, and Korey Strozier of King County DLS for their tireless advocacy. Their support means everything.
We understand that the Dare2Be Project hopes to return in August and continue building this vital community space. Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your belief in the Skyway Farmers Market and Bazaar's mission.
