Come Work With Us
Why work at Skyway Coalition?
Because we're making a difference in our community. We're not your typical office. We spend half our time dreaming up ways to work alongside our BIPOC neighbors and the other half getting the work done.
Skyway Coalition is a nonprofit organization that addresses the historic lack of investment, inequitable policies, displacement, and systems that have directly impacted our Black and Brown unincorporated community of Skyway. We work together to advance equitable development and support community-driven priorities, focusing on advocacy, affordable housing, and economic development.
Building from our history of advocacy, community-led planning, and collective impact, we have built strong partnerships with our residents, community partners, elected officials, and government agencies. We bring substantial investments and guide policies to preserve and build up our BIPOC Skyway community.
Our community has successfully advocated for $10 million for affordable housing, over $10 million for a community center, over $5 million for economic development, over $2 million in infrastructure investments, and helped to inform King County’s Skyway Sub-Area Plan. We're expanding our team. Keep an eye out for more positions coming soon.
