On Sunday, May 28th, our vibrant Skyway community celebrated the second Skyway Farmers Market and Bazaar! Hosted by the Urban Food Systems Pact (UFSP) and stewarded by a collection of organizations such as The Dare2Be Project, Renton Innovation Zone Partnership, Supporting Partnerships in Education and Beyond, The Silent Task Force, and partially sponsored by Skyway Coalition, this event showcased the power of collective action and our shared vision of reimagining urban food systems. It was a lively gathering that fostered economic growth and community engagement. Let's dive into the exciting highlights of this event and its significance for Skyway!
The Skyway Farmers Market and Bazaar brought our community together to connect, socialize, and support our fantastic local businesses. It created a welcoming and inclusive space where people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures could unite and celebrate our love for delicious food, fresh, locally sourced produce, and delightful handmade goods.
The market was a treasure trove of local vendors offering an incredible range of products. There was something for everyone, from farm-fresh produce to unique crafts and artisanal foods.
