New Affordable Housing and Early Learning Center Coming to Skyway
In partnership with the Skyway community, Childhaven and the Low-Income Housing Institute (LIHI) are collaborating to develop a mixed-use affordable housing/early learning center in Skyway. The property is located at 12742 Renton Ave. South, next to the 7-Eleven store.
The apartment community will include approximately 50 units of affordable rental housing and four early childhood education preschool classrooms serving 80 children and their families. Construction will begin in 2025 with occupancy in 2026.
